Pitchers Ryan Dempster, Jeff Samardzija and Esmalin Caridad pitch 5 scoreless innings all together.
Players that stood out but the wrong way:
P Tom Gorzelanny pitcher 2 innings giving up 1 hit and 2 runs but struck out 1.
Tomorrow the Cubs will play at 2 but not on TV.
