Cubs Keep Losing

The Cubs lost there 8th straight game yesterday and fell 1 game under 500 losing to the Pittsburgh Pirates in game 1 of a 3 game set at home.

Neal Cotts again was horrible and lost the game for the Cubs giving up a 2-run homer to Nate Mclouth. Pinella said this after the game "Neal, we've given him all of the opportunities in the world. It's about time...". He never finish it but most people think Neal Cotts will be traded or DFA within a week, I say Cotts is DFA when Harden returns off the DL, so the Cube could put Marshall in the bullpen as the only lefty and put Wells in the rotation.

Gordon Wittnymer of the Sun-Times is the one that reported the Cubs are interested Kouzmanoff and was talking about trading for Uggla and Cantu. He said if the price is reasonable Hendry will pull off a trade in about 2 weeks.

I will keep you posted.
