The Cubs called up pitcher Jose Ascaino and put pitcher Chad Fox on the 15 day DL.
Aramis Ramirez can't do any baseball activities for at least 3 weeks and could be out for 2 months.
Derrek Lee was in Chicago today getting a MRI on his neck and is questionble for Tuesday vs the Padres.
Ryan Freel in his first at-bat with the Cubs, he lined a single up the middle. It came in a pinch hit role.
