Update on Zambrano, Peavy, Bradley

Breaking News: Milton Bradley's suspension was reduced from 2 games to 1. Bradley will miss tomorrows's game against the Astros.

Zambrano ran and did some fielding exercises today for the first time since injuring his hamstring on May 3rd. Zambrano said he is ready to pitch Sunday for the Florida State League. Zambrano is set to pitch a week from tomorrow on May 22rd.

Stark says, as for a possible Jake Peavy-to-the-Cubs deal, Stark writes "The Cubs' ownership limbo now looks as if it might stretch until Christmas Eve. So who knows whether Cubs GM Jim Hendry will even be released from captivity in time to pursue another Peavy deal come July."

I will keep you posted.
