My 25 Man Roster

The Cubs are off today but will be back to action tomorrow against the Japan Team.

This is my 25 man roster with 12 pitchers:

C Geovany Soto
C Koyie Hill- outplaying Bako as of right now.
1B Derek Lee
1B Micah Hoffpauir- has a hot bat as of right now.
2B Mike Fontenot- will be starter over Aaron Miles on opening day.
2B Aaron Miles
3B Aramis Ramirez
SS Ryan Theriot
OF Alfonso Soriano
OF Milton Bradley
OF Kosuke Fukudome
OF Reed Johnson
OF Joey Gathright- has the speed, defense and is swinging pretty good as of right now.

P Carlor Zambrano
P Ryan Dempster
P Rich Harden
P Ted Lilly
P Aaron Heilman- he is a starter and not a relief pitcher and the Cubs need another lefty in the bullpen and that is Sean Marshall.

CL Kevin Gregg- I don't think he will out pitch Marmol for the job but Marmol is the best setup man in a ll of baseball.

LH Neil Cotts
RH Angel Guzman or Jose Ascaino- I pick Ascaino because the cubs will have a harder time to trade Ascaino and Guzman is young and teams are looking at him.

Potential Call ups:

Luis Vizcaino- My guess is he will be traded or released.
David Patton- He is probably one of the best relief pitchers for the Cubs this spring training but I still think he is to inexpierence in the majors.
Waddell- He has pitching good to but also is out of options.
Angel Guzman- I think he will be traded before the season starts or in the beginning of the season.
Jose Ascaino- I like this guy and I wish he can make the team.
Kevin Hart- This guy has shown me nothing and I doubt he will be on the top to be called up to the majors.
