Cuts:

Update: On Tuesday, the Cubs outrighted Richie Robnett to Triple-A Iowa.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, the Cubs optioned both Jake Fox and Sam Fuld. The Cubs also optioned Jose Ascanio on Tuesday and re-assigned Jason Waddell and Bobby Scales to minor league camp.

Spring Training Recap:

The Cubs beat the Colorado Rockies 9-8.

Neal Cotts pitch 0.2 inings and gave up nothing.
Kevin Gregg pitch 0.1 innings and gave up nothing.
