Spring Training Notes

Carlos Marmol was scheduled to make the start yesterday againsst the White Sox but intead pitch in a minor league game along with Neal Cotts and Aaron Heilman, According to the Tribune.

Lou Pinella did not make the trip to because he was not gelling good, that is according to Cubs.com.

Spring Training Lineup:

The Cubs lost to the Colorado Rockies 10-6.

These players will mak the team for sure:

Aaron Miles went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, rbi and a strikeout.
Kosuke Fukudome went 0 for 3 with 2 walks.
Micah Hoffpauir went 2 for 5 with a double, homerun and 3 rbi's.
Geovany Soto went 2 for 4 with a single, double and 2 strikeouts.
Mike Fontenot went 0 for 2 with 2 walks and a strikeout.
Reed Johnson went 0 for 2 with 2 walks, and a rbi.
Joey Gathright went 0 for 4 with a walk and 2 strikeouts.
Pitchers:
Ryan Dempster pitch 6 innings and gave up 8 hits, 4 runs, 3 walks and 4 strikeouts.

Notables:
Paul Bako went 1 for 1 with a single.
Jeff Samardzija pitch 1 inning and gave up nothing.
