According to ESPN Chicago, the Cubs sent relief pitcher lefty Neil Cotts and infielder Bobby Scales to Triple A Iowa and called up Utility man Jake Fox, lefty reliver Jason Waddell and infielder Andres Blanco. Blanco and Waddell were added to the 40 man roster. I think the only reason Scales was sent down because they need a backup shortstop to give Theriot days off with Miles going on the DL.
The Cubs also placed infielder Aaron Miles on the 15 Day DL.

Bruce Levine reported he is going to play third and Fontenot at second with Blanco the backup to Theriot.
