According to Ken Rosenthal, the Cubs have interest in Orioles closer George Sherrill along with the Marlins, Dodgers, Brewers and Angels. If he is traded and not to the Cubs I hope it is to the only AL team in the Angels. With the acquisition of Cla Meredith, people speculated that George Sherill can be on the move.
Sherill is making 2.75 million this year and is having a pretty good year. Sherill is 0-1 with a 2.35 era in 39 games , he also has 20 saves out of 23 opportunities.
Ken Rosenthal they would want a 3B and young pitching.
