A Few Quick Notes

Yesterday Derrek Lee had a career day with 2 home runs and 7 rbi's in the win against the Brewers.

The Tribune reported lefty Neal Cotts is done for the season after undergoing Tommy John Surgery. Cotts started the season with the Cubs and earlier in June was demoted to Triple A Iowa.

David Kaplan mentioned on the radio that the Cubs are pondering the thought of moving Theriot to 2B and trading for an above average SS.

According to Hot Stove Cubbies, the Cubs are looking at relief pitchers Matt Capps of the Pirates and Cla Meredith of the Padres. I do not like both players and are having trouble this year (bad 2009 stats).

Angel Guzman will pitch in a rehab start for Triple A Iowa today at 7:05.

Reed Johnson and Aramis Ramirez will play in a rehab start for Peoria Chiefs today at 6:05 and will be ready to return on Monday if no setbacks along with Guzman.

I will have there rehab starts, right here after there games go finalized and always keep you posted on everything Cubs
