Aramis Ramirez could be done for the season according to Lou. Lou had to say this:
On the other hand, third baseman Aramis Ramirez is not ready to go, and he may be next in what’s becoming a long line of Cubs to be shut down for the rest of the year.
“I’m not going to say that, but we’ll see,”
If I was Pinella I would shut him down to heal for next year, so he can be about 100% healthy.
Other Injuries:
Kevin Gregg is done for the season with torn cartilage on his rib cage. He is joining Angel Guzman and maybe Ramirez as players to be done for the season.
Derrek Lee did not play in the first game of the double hitter because of a sore foot. He went to have x-rays and it came back negative. Lee did play in the second game racking up 2 singles going 2-3 with a walk and strikeout.
I will keep you posted as the hot stove is about a month away.
