The Cubs might make a big splash already before the offseason begins, within a week by signing top hitting coach Rudy Jaramilla, according to Bruce levine.
Also according to Bruce Levine the Cubs have begun negotiations with Jaramill0 and is expected to be the highest paid hitting coach around 750,000 (Bruce Levine thought)-800,000 (Jon Heyman's thought) on a multi year contract.
Jon Heyman writes that the Cubs are in serious negotiations with Jaramillo and is expected to be the Cubs hitting coach. The Cubs are hoping Jaramillo can help Soriano get his swing back like how he taught him when he was a Texas.
Other teams that are interested are the Astos, Indians, Mets and Giants.
I think the Cubs sign Jaramillo to a 3 year contract worth 775,000 a year next week.
I will keep you posted as this keeps getting more steam.
