Yesterday the Cubs fired hitting coach Von Joshua. Earlier in the Year the Cubs fired hitting coach Gerald Perry and Von Joshua came up from Triple A to replace him.
Hendry said it was nothing he did but there was little improvement.
Jim Hendry did at least offer his old job back in the minors as the hitting coach for Iowa Cubs.
Will we see former and Hall of Famer 2B Ryne Sandberg be the replacement, likely not, Hendry said that Sandberg will either be the manager for Double A or Triple A to get ready to manager the Cubs after Pinella retires in 2011,
Later today I will have my MLB awards for the whole MLB and your Chicago Cubs.
